This section is dedicated to small-scale historical miniatures and compact display scenes.
The focus is on atmosphere, storytelling and careful presentation rather than on large dioramas. Subjects may include military and civilian scenes, figures, vehicles, buildings or everyday moments inspired by real history.
Most projects will be in 15mm / 1:100 scale, using the miniatures, vehicles and scenery already available in my collection.

Historical and modelling note
This micro-diorama represents a Tiger I Ausf. E with turret number “217”, inspired by the Bundesarchiv photograph usually described as Russland-Nord, January 1944.
The subject is presented with a cautious attribution to schwere Panzer-Abteilung 502. In this interpretation, the number “217” is read as 2. Kompanie, tank 17, rather than as a standard company-platoon-vehicle code.
The model focuses on the visual elements that are most useful at 15 mm / 1:100 scale: the silhouette of the Tiger I, the turret number, the worn winter whitewash, darker lower areas, muddy running gear and a compact terrain base.
The fallen tree is used as a scenic and compositional element, adding direction, scale and atmosphere without distracting from the tank itself.
Modelling notes
The model was painted with a Dunkelgelb base and a worn off-white winter finish. Weathering was kept selective: dirt and mud are concentrated on the lower hull, wheels and tracks, while the upper surfaces retain a worn winter appearance.
The terrain uses dark earth tones, ochre, reddish-brown and muted yellow elements to suggest cold, disturbed ground with autumnal residues rather than a full spring mud scene.
Research notes
A detailed historical and modelling report exists for this model and may be linked in the future.
