Microhistory Models Italy is a personal modelling project dedicated to hand-painted historical miniatures, aircraft models and small display scenes.

Behind this project there is a modeller from Italy: an engineer by profession, a father and companion, and a lifelong enthusiast of aviation, machines and technical history.

After more than forty years away from modelling, I returned to this hobby as a quiet and meaningful way to reconnect with creativity, patience and historical imagination.

My interest is not only in the model itself, but in the small story it can tell: an aircraft, a pilot, a vehicle, a figure, a base, a label, a photograph, a colour reference.

Each piece is intended as a compact historical scene, built with care, atmosphere and respect for the sources.

This is not a historical archive or an academic website. It is a personal gallery of models inspired by real history.

🇮🇹 Chi c’è dietro Microhistory Models Italy

Microhistory Models Italy è un progetto personale dedicato a miniature storiche dipinte a mano, aeromodelli e piccole scene da esposizione.

Dietro questo progetto c’è un modellista italiano: ingegnere di professione, padre e compagno, da sempre affascinato dall’aviazione, dalle macchine e dalla storia della tecnica.

Dopo più di quarant’anni lontano dal modellismo, mi sono riavvicinato a questo hobby come a un modo silenzioso e significativo per ritrovare creatività, pazienza e immaginazione storica.

Il mio interesse non è solo il modello in sé, ma la piccola storia che può raccontare: un aereo, un pilota, un mezzo, una figura, una basetta, una targhetta, una fotografia, un riferimento cromatico.

Ogni pezzo nasce come una piccola scena storica, costruita con cura, atmosfera e rispetto per le fonti.

Questo non è un archivio storico né un sito accademico. È una galleria personale di modelli ispirati alla storia reale.
